Can you actually SR for a shiny one of these fuckers? I saw a video showing how to SR but there was some comments saying you couldn't get a shiny from it, or that you could only get one from RNG manip. Is there a definitive/confirmed answer?

Whether or not you can doesn't really matter, the Pokemon Channel Jirachi can be shiny but if it is the Pokemon Bank considers it an illegal Pokemon so you have to keep it in 3-5. I'd assume the Coliseum one follows the same idea.

You can but the odds are even lower then normal since GF just fucked up the lock and it may require RNG manipulation. Pretty sure Bank blocks shiny ones from the bonus disc anyway.

definitively no. there are a limited number of specific tid/sid combos that will make is shiny. you technically could try but it would almost never happen. i tried for a couple months. eventually i just rnged it, it transfers through bank tho. if u want i can find the tid/sid and probably info on why it’s ~basically impossible~ and a waste of time tho

If I have to RNG manip I'll probably just wait for an event, but you're saying there's a chance to get it without that? Even if it's incredibly small, there's an actual chance to get it by lucking out with SR?

You can, but that would be very time consuming as the transfer is limited to 1 per save, you can't see what you got until it's finished and before that it plays an animation.

Basically you'd have to start a new save file each time, get the Pokedex, then fire up the bonus disc, watch the animation, then check in your game if you got a shiny.
