* The Ride Pager absolutely blows the previous HM system completely out of the water, and is probably the single greatest QOL improvements in the franchise in quite some time.
* Z-Moves, while gimmicky, do give certain Pokemon, especially those that have lower BSTs or cannot Mega Evolve, a fighting chance to KO stronger opponents.
* Small thing, but the ability to use a Pokeball of the last type you used from the main Items menu in battle makes catching Pokemon less tedious.
* Mantine Surfing is a fun minigame, and gives players not interested in battling competitively via the Battle Tree a good alternative to raise the BP needed to buy desired items, especially those that trigger evolutions.
* No big-ass city with confusing layout, befuddling controls, and, quite frankly, a lot of dead space.
