The Pokemon Company would have to be awfully tone deaf to hype up this amazing huge event of the big Pokemon Day during the same year the Switch games are coming out and not show anything from them

They stated that they were going through memories for Pokemon day. And that's exactly what they did, they have mentioned every region, and have looked back upon the TCG, the main series and the anime. We were promised nothing in regards to a Direct or new reveals.

Not only did they have the chance to change it from "2018 or later" to "TBD", they had like four months to do so and didn't. They would have fucking changed it if their heart was set on 2019. MP4 is clear example of this. Go ahead and continue to ignore the other shit on this list, though.

Look the only anyone argue for 2018 release is that the Legendary giveaway for "The year of Legendaries" has nothing for December which could have easily (and now more interestingly) given away any combination of Volcanion, Diancie, or Hooopa (i.e. the only remaining non gen 7 legendary pokemon). December would a prime month to release the games and boost sales. But this is kinda a weak argument for it.

I am starting to think the 'RPG Pokemon 2018' thing was just something they had to say to appease 2018-fags and investors. Isn't the first time a game got delayed.
