I'm just so god damn sick of seeing the Kanto starters hog merchandise and show up everywhere; they aren't even that visually appealing, and they're more or less the face of Gen I pandering. They're bait for people who want to seem like Pokemon fans but barely know anything about the franchise outside of parodies they've seen on YouTube. At least Eevee gets by based off of its actual design and cute appeal, even if most of its fans are teen girls who aren't even invested in the franchise.
