>>35006967Even though he might be a complete ass on Twitter, Joe Merrick himself still has some hope that these games could still come out this year. We've had Pokemon games that were announced as late as July that came out later in the year. Hell, even as far as main series games go, BW were announced in APRIL 2010 and came out that September. We can have a game announcement in April and still get them by November. I find it curious that Nintendo has not actually focused on any games that are coming out Q2 or later. My guess is that they are advertising and focusing on the Q1 games. Then we will get a Nintendo Direct later in the year for the rest of the games to come out in 2018, with Pokemon being either the first or the last to get an announcement.
I can't see this being in 2019. There's just so much evidence for 2018, including that tweet from The Pokemon Company that said "to another year of Pokemon adventures," and the unusual amount of Eevee promotion happening right now.
