I'm seriously wondering if they are able to create a Switch game. As in, are their devs equipped with the skillset to do so.
Looking over their back catalogue of games since they began as a company, they have very little main console experience. And most of that experience is puzzle and side-scrolling adventure.
There's only one attempt at a RPG-style game on a main console, and that's "Bushi Seiryuuden: Futari no Yuusha" from 1997. In this game, the player switches between Zelda-style sprite map movement (travelling around), first-person POV (talking to NPCs), and turn-based side-scrolling action (the battles).
Are Gamefreak even capable of creating a 3D RPG-style environment for the Switch? Will it be just USUM in HD?
