Is it ugly? Yes. But I think that is not enough to make it a bad design. I quite like the seemingly random inspirations it drew from.

There are so many of these kinds of Pokémon, they're just utterly irrelevant. It's kind of sad, Gamefreak could just completely wipe them out of the game and I wouldn't even care.
