This is why when I played online I always used ev-trained perfect legendaries, just to spite the Smogon fags. None could fell my Arceus or Giratina rest wall in comp, and the Giratina drew out battles to the time limit.

I just use smogon as a guide. I prefer to build my own teams based on my own playstyle.

I'm about a .500 average, although I once had an 8 match win streak.

I like to play straight aggro but I sometimes use unconventional sets. In OU, I often use Togekiss but I teach best mon flamethrower so when people bring out those pesky Celesteela's to counter her, they're just like "WTF?!"
It's pretty entertaining to watch a togekiss burn someone to death.

Except even VGC has rules. Play on cartridge. Sure, the quality of players is lower(though slowly improving each gen) but they can't force you to follow any rules either. If it's the PSS they can bitch at you, but as far as I know they have to way to in Sun and Moon(fuck the PSS not being in the games though ffs).

and thats where the problem is. the only acceptable rule is that there are no rules, but there is no where to practice like that. i want to use a premade team without any rules that restrict the pokemons natural abilities.

No, there's no hacks in AG.
It has no rules at all, so you can use whatever you want as long as it legit in the game. No OHKO clause, no sleep clause, no species clause and whatever else.
There's a single rule though, no Endless Battles. So Funbro and friends are literally the only thing banned.
