That would be the best possible outcome. I’d rather have gen 1 remakes than any shitty new region. Especially if it’s based off some europoor shithole like some people have speculated.

That would be the worst possible outcome. Kanto is the worst region of them all, hell, even Alola is better, I'd rather a third Alola game than a 7th Kanto game. Kanto is literally just fields and forests, all of the routes look the same and there is no diversity. Give me a Eurocentric region any day as Europe is rich with culture and history.

It would show so much weakness in the Pokemon brand to have to re-rerelease a shitty 22 year old game. Don't get me wrong, I love HGSS and ORAS but god damn I wouldn't want another Kanto game. I just want my fucking Sinnoh remake and that's it.
