Origins was okay. It crammed way too much into a scant 4 episodes and while Red had lots of varied and interesting Pokemon that don't get much love these days, the specials only ever focused on Charizard, which was extremely disappointing.
Generations I loved. Not all the episodes were that good and the voice acting was often cheesy, but I loved how they represented everything and gave focus to people and Pokemon not always given much attention. Like how Calem has Chesnaught against AZ and not Greninja, or how they focus on Gabby and Ty because why not. Did suffer a bit from just retelling the game's events towards the end though.
