Gonna drop some rumors I heard from a "good friend", believe them or don't whatever.
GF has taken the whole UB thing to the next level supposedly and it's the theme with the new game. The region is set in alternate world in a futuristic city/desert (I think it's based on Dubai.) The theme is culture versus technology (old vs. new.) The desert is for culture and the city is technology. Since it's in a new world there is no returning pokemon, 151 new pokes to catch (they 're all technically UB). The whole UB theme has let the artists run lose and the designs are really weird and wacky (like UB clown wacky.) There's 3 starters but only 2 in game, a ghost steel pokemon based on membranes and familiarity, and a fire fairy type based on culture and ritual. The third starter has already been seen and is poipole. Something happened and poipole dissapeared, etc. I don't really have much info on plot. I do know there's 2 bad teams (like in ruby sapphire) depending on which version you get. Starters only evolve once normally, afterwards you have to do something story related in order to unlock 3rd evolution. No box legendaries, because the two starters considered the "legendaries". Poipoles 3rd form will be treated as the Zygarde or Kyurem of the gen. I have a little bit of other data aswell, ask me whatevs.
