My fav mons just happen to be highly dependent on tier shifts and the metagame.

I think it wouldn't be so bad if people just took things less seriously, tried less hard to win, and in general were less competitive.

Like, Showdown should have a place for casual chill battles. No ELO rankings, so no reward for doing good. Competitive fags wouldn't go there because it's a waste of their time because wins and losses aren't recorded and therefore will not give them any bragging rights or whatever the hell they're trying to prove, so chill people and Karenfags could play to their heart's content.

Good battle spot players knows that the match begins at team select. If you find yourself in a winnable position due to matchup, you chose poorly.

In OU you don't even get that option, you'll always have to deal with the opponent's full team.

I play with at least a few of my favorites, I try to mix between competitive fag and Karenfag. Raichu is my favorite and he has a decent niche though isn't the greatest in doubles. Froslass is another favorite but unfortunately I don't really use her since it's very difficult to place it somewhere, best I could probably do is a specs set.

Usually Karenfags just don't like the strict nature of competitive environments. If you run something that isn't perceived as viable, everybody's gonna be on your ass. If you wanna play OU you're just stuck using legends, mythicals, and ultra beasts.

Most people I meet are usually not close-minded, though, and don't get anal about playing or not playing Smogon.

I Karenfag myself from time to time; I'll pick a pokemon out of a hat and run it for a while, but always in the correct place.

Your opponent child predict you to predict and plan accordingly.
