How did Sage even start? Did some guy on here just say 'let's make a Pokemon game' and everyone got behind him?

I vaguely remember some of the generals but not the actual inception.

Closer to, lets make our own pokedex. At, some point, people wanted to make a game to go along with the Pokémon, but it started as just creating a pokedex. Hence why the wiki is called capx or create a pokedex.

As far as Sage is concerned, /vp/ had a couple "design a viable Pokemon" threads and from there someone suggested outright making a game. So ideas started flying around for the starters and from there it gradually evolved into what it is today.
