The anime made Togepi look like some secret badass, but it goes down in one hit in-game. Even if you're lucky enough for Metronome to call a powerful attack, it'll still be meaningless because its damaging stats are so pitiful.
Togetic was just more of the same, but made worse by the fact that it's a damn friendship evolution.
Come to think of it, I want to punch a lot of Gen 2 pokemon.
