Personally I’d like to see either:

Fire/Steel War horse with Battle Armor

Grass/Ice Sabertooth tiger with thick fat

Water/ground hippo with bubble bombs (bomb as weapon emphasis)

If you're going for patterns you messed up a little(save the horse)
We just got a tiger so I doubt they'll do another one the generation after.
Also, while you have the semi aquatic Water starter right, the bomb weapon is taken by Primarina.
Not to mention that the weapon pattern doesn't really exist anyway.

I completely agree with that one.
It was the reason why I liked those fakes in the first place.

And to be honest, I would LOVE a Platypus as a water starter. I didn't know I needed it until I saw that damn fake.

For the grass. I was actually thinking in an elephant. Or maybe a flying possum. Either way, it's the one I don't have any expectations set.

Another snake would be great, maybe a Fire/Psychic cobra pokemon that mesmerises foes with its hood patterns.

I agree about the tiger but would love a fire snake as much as Battle horse, water hippo could be mortars though and we could have grass mammoth

I like the grass/fighting, fire/flying, water/rock trio for types. Each has a weakness and a double weakness to one of the next one's types. Each resists both of the types of the one before it. Their secondary types also form a perfect triad on their own, with each one resisting the type before it and weak to the type after it. It's the most symmetrical dual-type triad I can think of. The only flaw I see in it is that the resistances aren't perfectly symmetrical: fire/flying resists fighting and double-resists grass, water/rock resists flying and double resists fire, but grass/fighting just has single resistances to water and rock.
