I never understood why Zebstrika was an Electric type until today. Two things: One, zebras are black and white, which gives off the appearance of storm clouds and electricity. (A LOT of Electric types have either black, or white in their designs. It's meant to simulate the flash that happens when lightning strikes.) And two, zebras can generally be said to represent 'Z'. And that letter also happens to look like a bolt of lightning. So neat.
