Post nostalgic pokemon stories
>4th grade, godfather got me a 3ds for Reyes day
>All my friends and I have D/P
>Also listening to green day because that's what was HIP and EDGY back then
>Friend and I brag about how powerful our mons are, even though they're just like lv60 shitters or something, none of us even know about stats
>We don't care, we just fight our mons
>I had Empoleon, Staraptor, Floatzel, Luxray, and a couple other mons I don't even remember
>We just have a good time battling and having fun
The main reason I still play pokemon is just to feel like a kid again: free to run around outside, getting in trouble, playing those games with friends, the whole nine.
I'm still friends with a lot of the people I played with in D/P and I probably wouldn't have even been friends with those guys if we hadn't had the interest in pokemon. Most of us even kept the interest through high school and we're still tight.
