Gen 1 is Pokémon.
Gen 2 is Pokémon 2.
Gen 3 started a WTF.
Gen 4 tried to go back to Pokémon 2.
Gen 5 was a complete mess and definitely not Pokèmon.
Gen 6 tried to go back like Gen 4.
Gen 7 killed Pokémon.
