Dragons and Fighting types needed the nerf most of all. Bug and Ice didn't need a nerf, and Dark was a necessary resist with the knock off buff and Steel losing its resistance.

Something like that, I guess. It’s like Gamefreak forgot Ice used to be the dragonkiller type and that the Physical/Special split made them complete shit.

I want more non-pink fairies. Goblins, minotaurs, wendigos, jersey devils, imps, kappas, fey, there’s a huge untapped source for magical beings that aren’t also “girly”. Personally I think a Mediterranean themed world map with Roman/Greek influences, such as in the legendaries, Zeus/Poseidon/Hades, then a smaller island about 1/3 of the map with more Celtic themes, dullahans and banshees and cu sith and gelert’s grave and all that jazz.

Even Granbull is pink.

I don't like how fairys are only weak two types with some of the weakest offensive capabilities in the game. They should make it weak to fighting, it didn't need another counter.

This. Except Blacephalon. Blacephalon should have been Fire/Fairy though, in reference to the Dullahan, a fairy with a burning decapitated head that marks people for death.

Dullahan was a fairy because literally every creature in Celtic folklore was a "fairy". It was pretty much a generic term like "monster" or "magical creature". In modern usage "Fairy" has much narrower meaning.

I am 100% sure that Evil(Dark) being weak to Fairy is so that Hydreigon can be 4x weak to a thing.

I just don't get how it 100% negates Dragon. All the other immunities make sense (flying immune to ground, ground immune to electric, etc.), barring Dark being immune to Psychic.

It doesn't make sense for an Igglybuff to eat a Dragon Claw from a Garchomp and not be hurt at all. Should just be a resist.

Gamefreak had the perfect opportunity to balance the types with the addition of Fairy, and in some ways they did, but WHY ON EARTH did they nerf Bug types, already one of if not THE worst type overall?

Because those megas and legendaries have extremely good stats and movepools.
As a type Psychic is shit. Defensively it only has two resists, one of which is itself, and offensively it's only SE against Fighting and Poison.
I think Psychic needs a buff at least offensively.
As it stands Psychic is just shitty fairy.
