>>35059860>if they followed their own self-imposed rules it would've been banned long agoSince Lando is in OU and cannot raise to any other tier unless he proves to have Uber characteristics then they aren't breaking their own rules.
> A Pokémon is offensively uber if, in common battle conditions, it is capable of sweeping through a significant portion of teams in the metagame with little effort. Lando is unable to do this as it is revenge killed easily by faster special attackers, faster Pokemon with ice/water moves and it cannot cover every threat if running a set up set.
> A Pokémon is defensively uber if, in common battle conditions, it is able to wall and stall out a significant portion of the metagame. Its lack of recovery means it's easy to wear down and it's not a great all around wall since it can only wall things from the physical side.
> A Pokémon is supportively uber if, in common battle conditions, it can consistently set up a situation in which it makes it substantially easier for other pokemon to sweep. All the support Lando does is Intimidate, set up Rocks or Defog them, not really that great for an utility mon.
If you're complaining about his usage then it's far less than other Pokemon's usage in other generation's OUs and Pokemon don't rise to OU due to usage so yeah.
No rules are being bent here.
