And even more than that, there is also a very large conservative population. Despite what political YouTubers tell you, the U.S. is not becoming a cucked country where conservatives will be stoned.
Think of it in terms of the 2016 election. People who were in the middle had the options of either Trump, Clinton, or someone else who would inevitably lose. Who do you think they're going to choose? Obviously Clinton.
And even if I'm completely wrong about that, you shouldn't project that onto Japan. Just because social justice is 'mainstream' in the west doesn't mean that it is in Japan.
