I could name like 10 dudes in my immediate friend circle who bought Switches just to play their first Zelda since Ocarina of Time, and all of them would lose their minds if they did a full HD 3D remake of RBY on the Switch. These are the same guys who would get drunk and go play Pokemon Go at 1am after leaving the bar. Normal, married, 20 and 30-something year old millennials who are into typical man shit like lifting, beers, football, and fucking hot girls. They turned into 8 year olds all over again when Go came out. If they made a Switch game that was basically Kanto all over again, that shit would print money. Those same guys would probably buy both versions too. And that fails to mention all the wives of these said men (and many more people who I don't know) that would be curious as hell because they probably are feeling strong '90s nostalgia too. I know my wife doesn't know a damn thing about Pokemon, but she'd be curious if all our friends were talking about. She almost started playing Pokemon Go just because everyone else was. That shit was powerful.
If GF and Nintendo want to get the Switch to start earning PS4 levels of system sales, that's what they need to do.
