I liked charizard and blastoise, loved feraligatr, but didn't have my "holy shit that's the best starter" moment until Ruby. I think it helped that the only grass type I really liked up to that point was exeggutor. Made sceptile being so cool refreshing.

I've always adored Blaziken.

I really like all of the starters actually, my favourites are Venusaur, Typhlosion, Blaziken/Swampert, Empoleon, Emboar/Samurott, Greninja and Decidueye/Incineroar. Kinda hard to narrow down because I've gotten attached to all of them throughout the years.

Same. The only design I dislike is Emboar, but even then, it’s shiny palette is really hard to ignore.
