Imo, it's between Feraligatr, Empoleon and Samurott. I run bulky Rapid Spin Blastoise just fine.

Blastoise is probably better in than Samurott just purely based on the fact it gets rapid spin, but we'll have to wait and see.
Typhlosion hands down takes the least viable Fire starter slot and Meganium has always been the worst grass starter competitively, its one of the worst grasses ever conjured. When you're outclassed by Roselia, you know you have a problem.

Friendly reminder that Mega Blastoise is a completely different Pokemon from Blastoise, and doesn't elevate Blastoise at all from shitmon status. Megas are 4th stage evolutions and should be considered distinct from what they evolve from.
It's sad because Blastoise has that badass gen 1 design but is and always has been terrible.
