You don't win something just because a few idiots don't know how the game works and just end up dicking around, believing literal nobodies and that a Nintendo Direct would feature main series Pokémon.
No, you still have to contend with the people who do know how to play. People who know how to play better than you, in this case.
They are trying for 2018. Fact. E3 is the latest they're likely to announce it. Probable fact (could do it later, but I'd put the chance at about zero).
Until they either admit it's going to be 2019 despite their best efforts, or they fail to announce it by or at E3 for this year you've won nothing.
And even if you do end up being right, you've literally won nothing. Congrats in the case it happens.
Which to be fair leaning towards at this point..Especially if Smash doesn't release in September or October. No way they're going to release both at the same time because that's not what they've been doing with their major titles.
It's been one major Nintendo first or second party release every month or month and a half or so.
