They'd both be on the same console and from Nintendo...that's a guaranteed lock for 20 million Switch sales. Maybe more. It's not like Call of Duty where they decided to release BO4 a month before RDR2 to avoid sales conflict

Also, I don't feel like Decidueye was as well received as they had hoped. They wanted it to come off as the badass starter like Greninja, but they failed this time. Buzzwole and Zeroara aren't/won't be popular enough to get a playable slot either. Mimikyu is definitely the breakout Pokemon of gen 7.
