>>35080795Nope. Gen 5 broke the pattern and created a new one that keeps a bit of the old pattern (remakes on each console). The difference from the old to the new is that the gens are now shorter and the third versions are replaced by either a remake or a "double" third version.
Old pattern:
1 gen, 1 console, 4 years, 2 games (1 remake), 1 third version.
New pattern:
1 console, 2 gens, 1 remake
1 gen, 3 years, 2 games
