The thing is though is that you don't get to use it in the main game as there's nothing to do in them after you've beat the games, besides competitive
Though I'd prefer to have interesting abilities too, that are viable as well. Water Bubble is a neat one imo

Nothing short of a stat overhaul can make Decidueye good

It has the highest BST of all non-mega and non-legendary Ghost types, but its stat distribution is terrible

Incineroar and Primarina have a good stat spreads, but Decidueye is a jack of all stats and master of none

Its HP, Defense and Speed are pretty paltry

I would at least argue that its only a few missing moves away from being playable as a sort of soft wallbreaker

I think it's fairly viable, just not able to shine on Decidueye. But it is pretty hard to find Pokémon where it would fit thematically.

It has sucker punch, shadow sneak, leaf storm, leaf blade, brave bird, nasty plot, swords dance, synthesis, spirit shackle Roost and tailwind.

If a Pokémon with all that and a mixed spread still can't do its job effectively then it is objectively trash tier.

Yeah it does have a pretty decent amount of options, out of the more unique ones I feel like Nasty Plot is about useless given its current predicament

If I had to add one move it would definitely be Perish Song, its an easy way to punish walls and bulkier Pokemon caught by Spirit Shackle. After that I would add Toxic Spikes and maybe Parting Shot
