Realistically, Decidueye isn't unique enough, considering it has to compete with both Pit and Greninja/Shiek in terms of fighter archetype.
If gen 7 is getting a rep at all (2which itself is a good question), I'm pretty confident it's going to be Incineroar. The way Incineroar's been used in the anime, the fact that Smash doesn't have a wrestler in it, and the style of Incineroar makes it just fit Smash too well.
The face and bodies say it all. Decidueye has like, three or four workable expressions. Incineroar has a cartoony face made for producing ridiculous faces. What expression would you give Decidueye for its "hit the screen" animation? How about its stunned, or teetering over the edge animation? Incineroar's face is built for those types of goofy expressions.
To come up with Decidueye's non-special moves, we've plundered its dex entries and movepool for some, but filling in the rest with a half dozen variations of Leaf Blade (Which brings it further closer to stepping on both Greninja and Pit's toes). How would it jab? What's its pummel? How does it lift a crate, or fire a Super Scope?
Incineroar has a flexible, and adaptable body for all of these things. You can just see it lugging a barrel, or holding on to an uncontrollable hammer. Incineroar doesn't just have its own Pokedex and movepool to plunder, it has a huge pool of famous wrestling and heel fighting moves at its disposal.
