Do people here play pokken? I never see much discussion.

I was thinking of picking it up for the Switch. but locally, most people are playing a combo of SF5, Tekken, and DBFZ. Is it fun in a casual way? Me and the gf want a game we can play together.

It get's tedious really quickly if you're playing it casually and don't have many friends to play with, it also has no story.
The game is pretty much geared torwards competitive play if you're interested in that.

Anon smash seems like the big game of this year. I'm expecting Pokken DLC + Detective Pikachu + and they're probably going to pick a pokemon from Pokken to join smash to celebrate the it, my guess is Decidueye.

Not sure about the others but blazblue, guilty gear and DBFZ got their own thing with Arcsys.
Still it's not an excuse to have Pokken not included, I was excited for it at EVO Japan in January only to have it as a side event.

actually, it is Pokken exclusive, but at the same time its shilling also Gen 7. Both Popplio and Litten got figures because they're in the games. And Rowlet got one to finish the line. Plus I did herd that a new Gengar, Machamp, and other gen one pokemon in Pokken are getting one too. If some random pokemon gets a figures like a random gen 7. Then it may not be a Pokken exclusive.

What should we expect from the next Pokken update? In my own opinion I want more of those victory or lost cut scenes if isn't too much to ask. I find them cute and gives the pokemon more characteristics and would make them more enjoyable to play as. In my opinion.

I get it, but I fuckin LOVE knockoff pokemon. I was in Seoul last year and saw so many it was hard to choose.
