Normal shouldn't ever be paired with anything. I'm not sure why GF ever did this other than in Gen 1 when Flying couldn't be alone.

This. Why the fuck is Heliolisk part normal? It absolutely ruins it, specially because it can't even learn decent stab moves. If it had some ability that changed its normal typing depending on weather, it'd make sense.

I still think Vespiquen would have been perfect for this instead of Bug/Flying since the idea (Queen bee, hivemind) is such a low hanging fruit but I guess after that you could try some other bug queen

A Pokemon that has access to all poison, ice, and dragon moves that relate to breath or breathing. Signature move is identical to Dragon Breath but 30% chance to slow foe and a 10% chance to freeze.

The Pokemon could be based on polar vortexes and appearance could have something to do with freezer burn.
