>>35090768I don't give a shit about Battle Frontier. XY was enjoyable, but it was extremely easy even with Exp. Share off and there were unused areas just staring you in the face, not to mention just leaving Zygarde in the dark. There were like a solid 6/10 entry or so because of the wide Pokedex and some interesting areas.
SM was not that good though. I liked the trials, but outside of that the new Pokemon sucked. Slow, didn't hit that strong, weak defenses, and meh movepools. They were not fun to use. Add in annoying characters that only show development towards the end and ruining one of the only good things in the game in Team Skull at the end. USUM was a slight improvement as I kind of liked the Ultra Space Recon duo, the Necrozma battle was interesting(and an idea I was hoping Pokemon would throw in since B2W2). They also added more Pokemon and more side things, even though they didn't amount to much reward. The only thing is with the story changes, I thought more was needed to explain why Lusamine was still psycho crazy. Also the Ultra Space city was a waste of a big design. I would give SM like a 4/5-10, USUM like a 6.5-7/10
That doesn't mean I dislike Pokemon though.
