How can you know this? There are people who likes some Pokémon that don't have nothing. And there are Pokémon that have less fans than others but buy all merch of them. And there are people who try to buy them all

i remember a few years ago i specifically looked for official merch of obscure pokemon and always found something. i only checked like 5 pokemon becausw fan made stuff was clogging the searches but they all had something. mainly key chains i think. i didnt check middle evos though because id assume there wouldnt be merch of like.. gurdurr.. but there probably would be of timburr and conkeldurr.. who knows..

also cards are technically merch so...

machop machoke and machamp all got (shitty and cheap) official plastic toys in the 90s

alakazam has an official banpresto plush from 2007

and theres a machamp plush that was factory manufactured and might be official but im too lazy to dig to confirm it but either way it looks.. silly

the alakazam is cute though

Chains are the only merch that all Pokémon have, and I'm pretty sure that it's because are easy to produce (too tiny, DW artwork, 2D merch...).

5 gen has plushes too, but all have terrible quality. I have 3 of those plushes and are ridiculous tiny compared to my other ones and have a lot of that fabric that looks like cardboard.

I'm still shocked that there aren't Pokemon Amiibos.

At the very least the TCG should work like those Animal Crossing Amiibo cards. Scan a card, get a mystery gift with the card's moveset. Or something.
