Out of all the Pokemon that have ever been in BL, Staraptor has spent the most time there. What will it take to make emo brid usable in UU?

Should mention that it technically ties with Alakazam in terms of how many UUs it's banned from, but Alakazam's ban from Gen 2 UU was retroactive.

I honestly have no idea. Gen 7 UU is orders of magnitudes stronger than Gen 4 OU (remember that Staraptor was BL in the last Gen Latias was considered Uber) and it's still too good for the tier, so who even fucking knows

Maybe when Skarmory and Zapdos drop we can talk, Zapdos is one of the only mons to resist CC and BB but takes full damage from Double Edge. Skarm resists Double Edge and BB but has no resistance to CC. Only other wall I can think of that fully counter it is Doublade

Blame Reckless, that 20% boost matters. It hits harder than Tapu Lele. and almost as hard as Kyurem-B's Outrage.

Actually, it does allright on sticky web birdspam teams with Mega Pinsir. Throw in a good ground type that works well with Sticky Web and doesn't instantly get wrecked by HP Ice like Mamoswine or something so you have an out against Tapu Koko, Maybe Mimikyu too in case things go really bad somewhere, and you're good to go.

Last gen it almost made it into OU thanks to a birdspam team with Pinsir and Talonflame.
