Long Reach only allows physical attacks to not trigger Rocket Helmet, Static, Shell Trap, Flame Body, Cute Charm and Poison Point.

It's gimmicky and highly situational.

It prevents Decidueye from triggerring things like flame body, static and rocky helmet.

On almost any other physically attacking pokemon it'd be pretty nice, but on Decidueye its kind of worthless since its best move, spirit shackle already doesn't make contact.

Especially considering Spirit Shackle is already non-contact - which you'll be using on the vast majority of Pokemon with contact abilities (Poison Point, Flame Body, Gooey and Iron Barbs Pokemon all resist Grass). Grass types are immune to Effect Spore, so that's not an issue.

Something that relies on things like the elemental punches/fangs for coverage woul benefit from not taking recoil from things like Ferrothorn and Garchomp.

As it is now, there are only Pokemon that would only use it if they had nothing better to use. The ability needs to be expanded somehow

While I don't think It'll stay on top for long, regardless he'll still be part of the meta and that makes me happy. Hell, it might even be used in VGC 2019 since it's typing is good against the new legends and would probably work well with Primal Groudon
