There are a multitude of unfinished content that amounts to inaccessible areas, Pokemon, and items in X/Y. Not gonna bother listing every single damn one when I try to explain to Gen 6/7 babies like you why those gens are shit and Gamefreak has gone to shit. Look them up yourself, and all of this ALSO applies to Sun and Moon. What happened to Zygarde in gen 6, and the absence of a 3rd enhanced version of X/Y, was the result of the trainwreck that was gen 6. But this trainwreck proved to Gamefreak that they can shit out anything and the majority of Pokemon fans will eat it right up. The Powerplant (tragically another fucking inaccessible Powerplant) is not the only thing wrong with Sun and Moon.
There's plenty of examples of the Gamefreak Gold standard of incompetence in ORAS too. Until Gamefreak decides that it wants to step up and compete with the bigger names in video games out there in order to garner more players and newcomers to the series, things will not change. I'm not expecting anything decent from Gen 8. They're going to use the same formula that is budget friendly and still makes them a shitload of money. Daddy Nintendo will pleased by this as always.
