Meanwhile, Smash is only 3 years younger than Pokémon and has sold barely a 10th of their numbers at about 40 million.
The most a Smash has sold is about 13 million and that was on the Wii which had a huge fucking install base at that point wit a huge gap in between games meaning people were yearning for one more than normal.
Meanwhile that's a common Pokémon number even when though release almost yearly.
