Went with Seal for SM and it made the game too easy. Tried Owl in USUM and it was total garbage and boxed before the end of the game

Rowlet's cute and Decidueye looks cool
And in USUM I just wanted to do something different and started with a shiny Yungoos I bred in SM.

Also didn't want to raise a Litten/Incineroar before Intimidate came out.

I picked Litten, used it for a while, then Wonder Traded him off because his final evo is garbage on all levels. I ended up getting two more Littens back on WT later on

Salandit was my favorite new pokemon, so I didn't want to run double fire types, plus I hate litten even though I think the evolutions are just meh. Just picked rowlet because the only new grass types I really liked couldn't be gotten till Poni.
For USM I just transferred up a shiny treecko I actually hatched since I like sceptile far more than any of the Alola starters and I had to level it anyway. Tried bruxish and salazzle for that playthough, they were great.

I used Litten in Sun because it was my favourite line overall and I like cats even if Incineroar is more humanoid. I ended up using Rowlet in Ultra Moon and it was pretty bad.
