Still not as weird as armored catfishes that have inbuilt chastity belts, so instead of regular mating, the female must drink the male's sperm, have them survive through her digestive tract, and let them fertilize her eggs after pooping them out. Or velvet worms that can naturally absorb semen from their skin like little bug succubi, so the male velvet worm just ejaculates on the female's head and her specialized semen carriage cells automatically bring it to her eggs. Or these deep sea squid that just tear open a hole into the female (or male, they aren't picky) and cum in there, or produce sperm packets that can independently drill into flesh and lodge themselves into their mate. Or that one water beetle with males that literally drown the female until she agrees to mate with them. All things considered, there are worse animals to be than dick frogs.
