I can't believe how well balanced this game is, it's crazy.

22 characters and, while there are some characters leaning towards good and not-so-good, any character can still win a giant tournament.

I love Pokken.

I'd like to see Braviary make the cut. He could be the super stoic military character archetype.

For his support, I can see Gogoat and Skarmory, using horn leech as a straight forward ram attack that restores HP for Gogoat and Skarmory could use spikes to limit the opponents movement.

Midnight Lycanroc is perfect for Pokken, would patch the lack of rock types and can shine better in a game where counters actually matter.

Coming up with the design and moves, balancing, modeling and animating it. They probably have some restrictions from GF too. Also they want the releases to be more spread out so the fans don't burn out as quickly

Honestly I'd be happy with almost anything. Hoping for Druddigon, though, maybe, and idk about what makes up a support set (only played a demo so far, waiting to buy my switch) but like I said, I'd be happy with basically anything.

If there's only one wave left, it'd most likely be Zeraora, considering how made-for-Pokken it looks. Unless that's as free DLC, or it plays REALLY well, I can't see it selling.
If there's more than one wave, preferably four to last up until December, I'd see Zeraora, Absol, an Ultra Beast, and maybe Ditto/Zoroark happening.
As for supports, it's up in the air completely. It's most likely to be more legendaries, or more popular Pokemon that they couldn't add in otherwise. Maybe Tapu Koko and Metagross, Tyranitar and Lugia, Ultra Beast and Ultra Beast, Venasaur and Swampert.

It'll never happen, but I want Palkia playable.
Palkia has a body literally built for dynamic combat, has cool space warping moves that could be tuned to great effect in the game, and would be an interesting tweak to have such a large, "fast" character.

I think it's more to the point that Rock has absolutely no feasible fighters going for it outside of Lycanroc. Normal is weird though, since not only does it have quite a few feasible fighters, many of them are quite popular as well. Snorlax and Lopunny come to mind. Although, you could argue that Lopunny brings nothing new to the roster besides the normal typing.

A while back I got Onix for M.U.G.E.N, and must respectfully disagree.
Onix is a great candidate. It's huge, but most of that is length. It's actual bulk is pretty skinny. It would bring an interesting, speedy/grappler archetype to the mix. If you actually check Onix's moveset, it gets some stuff to use for projectiles.It also has that old, genwun charm, while not being a pokemon that has been beaten to death over the years.
