Don't get me wrong, I remember pushing myself NOT to sleep in so I can watch Pokemon on Saturdays but I'm not going to pretend 4Kids was godly just because I prefer some voices over TPCi's.
Both are shit in different ways and frankly. It was 4Kids that blanked out signs and books. It was 4Kids that edited Japanese food and Japanese references. It was PROBABLY because of 4Kids why they dropped using world languages and using that scribbledy gook we see today.
Learn the difference between "good voice acting" and "good dub" because although it seems similar, the other implies faithful 1:1 translations (as in no added/unneeded dialogue or noise porn). For the record, 4Kids' had okay voice acting at best.
