I almost bought one the other day but I'm really holding out for smash and Metroid Prime 4 before I cave. I'm also hoping the Switch gets even more releases next year.

Just finished up MHW on ps4. Wanted to head back to my Switch and try the new Kirby but I've heard it's astoundingly mediocre.

I have a copy of I am Setsuna that someone gave me. I will probably try that since Hallow Knight still isn't out for Swtich yet.

I don't know, if I can get a decent deal on Kirby... I still might give it a go.

The main criticism I've heard are the same criticism of BotW and Odyssey.

Instead of trying to propel the series forward and try a lot of new, innovative things, the game is essentially an N64 nostalgia fest.

I didn't think Nintendo went over the top with the nostalgia bait in either of those other titles but I don't know. I have some extra cash. If I find myself in front of a copy soon, I might snag it regardless.

Crystal Shards was fucking great from what I remember. I'm sure it's possible to fuck up, but surely the limited amount of human emotion inside the Japanese soul could find reason to not ruin Kirby.

I got one for Splatoon 2 and Pokken DX, I don't actually care for Pokemon Switch unless the game gets the BotW treatment or something. USUM really burned me out on mainline.

Bought my Switch back in October.
Started with ARMS.
Odyssey was my second game, even though it was my primary reason to get a Switch
Bought Pokken Tournament as my 3rd game
Gunvolt Collection for 4
Wonder Boy and the Dragon's Curse remake makes 5
Super Bomberman R for 6
and recently Kirby Star Allies

I mean Switch does keep me invested on the portable factor so it has that. I just wish it had more games that had me like Odyssey did. Ports aren't bad, but if it's games you didn't have interest in playing in the first place or already finished, then yeah you kinda want something original.

I got a Switch way back in September. Got Splatoon 2 and Mario + Rabbits when I got it.

Bought Mario Odyssey when it came out. I would have gotten Breath of the Wild, but I already got it and played through it on the Wii U instead since I couldn't wait.

Now I'm playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2
