it would be funny if they did a nitnedo direct soon and said that they were waiting until the fourth quarter of 2019 to release the switch pokemon game so that they could "put in more effort and make a better game" (their words, not mine). Then they reveal the game next January and it's a remake of the first black/white games. for some reason they don't make a new region or even remake diamond and pearl, the logical next steps if they're taking the remake route.
