The entire main game of ORAS wasn't boring, even if you played it before, the main game is still far better than XY. The Map is put together better than Kalos. ORAS doesn't have an area that's literally grass one second and snow the other lol

They didn't need to attempt to redo the map. The base map, yes based off the GBA games, was still better than XY's by FAR
Again, I could use the same argument you did for secret bases. Customization requires grinding when there's even less Post game then ORAS
Unique challenges that aren't really unique and are basically the same thing over again and are even more RNG reliant then Pokemon battling normally

Better animations, better graphics, better frame rate(at least in singles) better UI better in every way if you already have the team made. Also it isn't an outside source, so I can do it while already in game
