I wouldn't be so sure, they even went through the effort of making it largely negative from a non-Kalosian perspective. Only two of SM/USUM's Mega Dex entries treated it as a good thing.

While I'd agree with you, GF has autism about equality and balance. I could see it coming back exclusively for starters, or things that have a counterpart with a mega but don't have one themselves, but otherwise yee.
