And yet stall doesn't exist in VGC, at least not to the extent that the image would imply. VGC stall consist of perish song users and a trapper. Pretty easy to deal with if your team is built right. Stall isn't an issue

Well there is a reason stall isn't dominating tournaments, it's not unbeatable at all if you prepare for the matchup. It can be very one sided but that's also the case for TR, Rain, Webs or Veil. Sometimes you just lose on team preview.

But i don't understand how someone can ladder with Stall. Like how desperately can you need these fucking points that you waste 20 mins on every game that your opponent doesn't forfeit t1. It's such a waste of time and even if you have a higher win rate it takes way longer to climb. But I guess some people just enjoy spamming soft boiled for 200 turns

This is what might make me switch back to VGC. I started playing some of the smogon tiers to try something else, and I thought lower tiers might be more fun but no, in every tier stall is cancer.
PU: Audino, Weezing and friends
NU: Congratulations your Audino has mega evolved
RU: This is probably the worst, Registeel Umbreon Gligar is the worst fucking core to play against.
UU: Blissey, Alolomomola, Sableye, Tangrowth Jesus Christ
OU: I don’t need to tell anyone about OU stall.
Bottom line, 6v6 singles will always have stall and unfortunately it’ll always be really fucking good.

Stall is dead in OU
otherwise stall is a playstyle just like HO and balanced, accept it and stop being a shitter, as long as it isn't stronger than other playstyles it's fine

To be fair VGC, being doubles, has nowhere the amount of playstyles smogon (singles) has. Instead doubles teams fit more or less into balance, of course some of them being more defensive or offensive and incorporating weather or TR, but in nowhere near the extent of singles.

Forgot to mention that in RU, the defogger to weak to ice so glalie has a field day with spikes, which makes getting rid of stall even easier. Basically you have a lot of options.

In OU, stall was at its strongest in gen 3, a bit weaker in gen 4, and then its been on a steady decline since then. It's just dead now, it can't deal with all the power creep bullshit gf has added
