Honestly I think you'd get more credit for using legendaries in some cases (like going through all the effort to get Registeel instead of just using Aggron). But as other anons have said, it really doesn't matter; the only people who'd frown upon you for using legendaries aren't worth caring about anyway.

Basically by being a meme, I guess. I don't know what you are talking about the animations. It was solid enough especially the finishing moves.
There are even references in their moves if you are sharp enough weaboo to notice.
I watched the show with my sister and we treated it more or less like a standard shonen anime. The fanservice wasnt trashy, as some like to say. I think it id a good show.
