I have long awaited this and I never even owned PBR. Very cool idea for a city. If Sunyshore was reskinned like this to have a zero waster electric grid that'd be very interesting. The city itself is like a lighthouse at that point, another noteworthy pbservation to add is that it would make sense for Cyrus to call it a home town if it looked akin to Poketopia. Everything else would become dull or bland if you were raised in a not-Vegas like city environment that does everything to dazzle you and for him it fails to appeal after age 10-15 or so resulting in a retrofuture-sequel toy robot obsessed Cyrus who wants to remake everything as he once desired it to be to see if he can craft a world worth being excited over.

PBR was better than stadium 2. Fuck all the nostalgiafags clamoring over fucking mini-games.

I’m still waiting for mainline games to have better trainer customization and battle presentation than this fucking game.

The shitty rental system and being locked into round 2 upon beating the game is the big issue. Stadium is still playable today even if round 2 is only technically possible with rentals. PBR is not for anyone who moved their shit past 4th gen.

It makes a lot more sense tocompare both of those games when they were relevant because both are irrelevant nowdays due to the updates the series has gotten. Both are useless because your gen 2 cartridges are fucking dead and any rewards you get in stadium 2 are stuck there to be deleted eventually. Both are useless because nitendo wifi is fucking dead.

If you’re gonna make an argument about how shit PbR is at least try to make an authentic one.

Because you are making it sound like PBR isn’t worth playing when it has the exact same worth if not more than a stadium game. You get a challenge meant to be done with your in-game mons in both games except PBR has a lot more variety to it akin to the battle frontier and its rewards can be transferred over to current gen.

The only thing you’re right about is the rental system not being as well done as in stadium games, which is not even a usable point considering that rental pokemon are an extremely inefficient way to actually do things in stadium.
