Smash isn't strong enough to carry the Switch through 'till Christmas, just like Zelda wasn't strong enough to carry it past summer, like Splatoon wasn't to carry it past Autumn. Whatever way you look at it, there's a glaring hole in the holiday line-up and realistically, the only franchise they're earmarking for that is Mario-tier. Again, Smash isn't Mario-tier, despite what you think. Pokémon's coming this November, please do try not to sperg over the board when you're proven wrong.
