Gamefreak seems to want to push online as the new "postgame," but they have such a opaque process when it comes to balancing. You'd think they'd invite more of their top players into the process. I tend to think Gamefreak is clueless, but even they have to take note of the rampant power creep shitting up their multiplayer meta.
